      Surprises Candace Parker Invitational Crowd
with Huge Upset Wins to Advance to Final Eight
            Adidas' Season Ending Tournament

The South Carolina Lady Seventy Sixers White was a late addition to the Candace Parker Invitational.  The White team, playing extremely well of late, did not disappoint.  In pool play they beat the CBC/Next Level Select Black and FBC Georgia before losing a close battle with the Memphis Lady Bobcats.  However, the White team secured first place through the tie breaker system.  They played the Minnesota Stars, Champions of the Adidas Hoosier Hardwood Championship, in bracket play.  The White team defeated the Minnesota Stars and advanced to play the Lady Sixers Black team in the quarterfinals.   The Black team went on to defeat the White, but OH WHAT A BATTLE.
                            An Amazing Week
The Lady Sixers White completed an amazing week by competing in Anthony Toney's Southern Premier Top 32 and the Candace Parker Invitational.  They finished 9-4 playing againt great talent in the two events.  The high point of their play was a victory over the Minnesota Stars excellent team.
